The Swimming Hole, Nonprofit Community Pool & Fitness in Stowe is hosting a Duck Regatta, Water Safety Education presentation, and family fun day on Saturday May 21st at The Swimming Hole.
The event is free to community members and promotes the importance of water safety skills for the whole family, vital to know before hitting Vermont’s waterways this summer.
Schedule Of Events- ( Water Safety Goodie Bags + Water Safety Education at the start of each event)
9:00am Duck Parade from the Baggy Knees Center to The Swimming Hole.
9:25am FREE Duck Hat & Duck Beak making Arts and Crafts activities, with prizes for best Duck Hat & Beak.
Enter Name the Famous Duck Competition + Swedish Fish Contest ( Lobby / Group Room)
10:00am FREE “Quacky Races”
kids and parent/caregivers will race for fun using all things duck, including Duck Floats ( Big Pool)
Age groups include:
18 months- 3 years + parent/caregiver
Preschool 4-5 years + parent/caregiver
6-8 Years
9 and over
10:30am is The Swimming Hole Duck Drop.
Entry Fee is $10 per Duck. Get ready for the Ducks to go down the Water Slide!
Cash Prize for the First Duck Down. All proceeds go to Swim Lesson Scholarships for kids in economic need.
11:00am – 12:00pm FREE Family Swim ( Big Pool + Kiddie Pool )
11:00am -12:30pm Ben + Jerry’s Ice cream Truck will be on site, while supplies last!
