Twenty-five years ago, our founder Jake Carpenter had a vision: sharing the joy of water, in a place where learning to swim — for all ages — would always be a top priority.
That dream became The Swimming Hole. Vermonters know you can fit a lot into a barn, and in our case it includes a competition-sized swimming pool, kiddie pool, fitness center, and yoga studio, with much more. Since then, that dream has made life-changing waves throughout our community: school kids learning to swim, seniors regaining strength and mobility, families finding friends and connection.
