Swimming Hole Coaches Attend Clinic Presented by Olympians
The Swimming Hole is passionate about swimming, and that includes the latest developments in stroke technique and coaching. We pride ourselves on being passionate, professional, educated and committed to bringing our swimmers the latest and greatest in technique & instruction.
This month we went right to the source, attending the Eastern States Swim clinic in New Jersey. This is the most personalized coaches’ clinic in the United States, with an amazing line up of speakers, including Olympians Dana Vollmer and Josh Davis.
Jeremy Bradley, Head Coach of Stowe Swimmers age group swim team, and assistant coach Karyn Scherer attended, along with Executive Director and Stowe Masters Head Coach Charlotte Brynn.
“We were so excited to learn from some of the best coaches and swimmers in the world, and now bring this fresh new information back to share with The Swimming Hole’s competitive and recreational swimmers”, said Charlotte Brynn, Executive Director and Head Coach.
“We watched Olympians demonstrate freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly. We saw the drills these swimmers have developed to become faster, sharper and more successful — techniques we are now using with The Swimming Hole age group kids, from our 6 year old newcomers to our senior swimmers. We are teaching The Swimming Hole kids to hold an Olympic Gold streamline in the water. They’re looking sharp”, said Jeremy Bradley, Head Coach.
These Olympic coaches covered everything from goal setting to visualization, from swimming with a narrow kick to fast turns, brilliant content. We have so much to share with local swimmers.
