Stowe Swimmers USA Swimming Swim Team attended their first meet of the 2020 Winter season on Sunday 11/3 held at Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, VT
12 Stowe Swimmers competed in the GMA IMX Challenge with personal best swims achieved by Annaliese Branch, Oliver Branch, Owen Branch, Isabella Choularton, Ainsley Dall, Rudd Day, Tess Day, Justin Diamond, Carter Friedrich, Joshua kelly, Allegra Muller and Maxwell Wulff.
In addition to personal best swims the following swimmers qualified for USA Swimming New England Regional and Silver Championship Meets held in the spring of 2020. Swimmers must make time cuts to be eligible to attend these meets are:
New England Silvers Championship Meets Qualifiers :Tess Day , Rudd Day, Justin Diamand
New England Regional Championship Meet Qualifiers: Owen Branch, Ainsley Dall, Allegra Muller, Max Wulf.

Max Wulff, 8 years placed first in the 50 Free, second in the 25 fly, 25 Back, 100 individual Medley and 3rd in the 25 Breaststroke, qualifying for New England regionals in all events.
Tess Day, 11 years old placed first in the 12 & under 100 Fly, 100 Back and 200 Free qualifying for the New England Silvers Championship meet held at the end of the 2019-2020 winter season and also set personal best times in the 100 Fly, 100 Back, 200 Free and 200 Individual Medley.
Owen Branch, 12 years old placed 4th in the 12 & Under 50 Fly and 5th in the 50 Back, qualifying for New England regionals in all events.
Ainsley Dall, 12 years old placed 3rd in the 12 & Under 50 Fly, 50 Back, 4th in the 200 Free, 100 Individual Medley and 6th in the 50 Breaststroke,qualifying for New England regionals in all events.
Rudd Day, 13 years old competed in the 13 & over division placing 5th in the 500 Free and qualifying for the New England Silvers Championship Meet in the 200 Breaststroke, 400 Individual Medley and 500 Freestyle.
Justin Diamond, 18 years old, competed in the 13 & over division placing 4th in the 500 Free and 6th in the 200 Individual Medley, qualifying for the New England Silvers Championship Meet in the 200 Individual Medley and 200 Backstroke and also set personal best records in the 200 Backstroke, 200 Breaststroke, 200 Individual Medley and 500 Freestyle.
