On August 15th, Charlotte Brynn swam 25 miles from Canada to Vermont in honor of Sierra Putnam. Every stroke was to support Sierras recovery. Charlotte had a successful swim, breaking her record with a time of 12 hours and 19 minutes. Sierra’s courage and fight gave Charlotte the strength and motivation to take on the swim.
Sierra is battling Fusion-positive Alvelar Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive disease. Her strength and courage is inspiring to us all.
Sierra and her family are beloved Stowe community and Swimming Hole members, and we are sending all of our love and support to Sierra and her family.
Just last week, we raised over $6,500. Thank you to everyone who donated and sent their support to Sierra and the Putnam family. The GoFundMe is still accepting donations. 100% of donations go directly to Sierra and her family to help cover medical costs, treatment, travel, and daily needs.
