Body Roll your way to a stronger freestyle
What separates efficient & inefficient freestyle swimmers? Rhythm. Freestyle has many parts — often we break it down to improve on certain areas, such as entry, pull and recovery. It is important to remember that freestyle is a continuous rhythmical stroke, efficient swimmers swim with rhythm. If you’d like a more efficient freestyle, use your body roll to establish a regular rhythm, swim with a continuous rhythmic body roll, think metronome, keep your roll the same amount to each side and strive on not letting your breathing disrupt your rhythm.
