New England Silvers Championship Meet- Wayland, MA – February 19-21 The Stowe Swimmers rocked Silvers, the 2nd Championship meet out of 3, in the 2016 New England Swimming Championship series! Four Swimmers qualified for 6 events. Heidi Brynn qualified for the Female 15-18 50 Freestyle. Justin Diamond qualified for the Boys 13-14 100 Freestyle. Stowe Swimmer captures New England swim title
Stowe swimmers competed in the New England Regional Championships Feb 12-14 at The Upper Valley Aquatic Center, with impressive results. There were 23 clubs representing teams from 3 New England States; Vermont, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. 15 Stowe Swimmers represented The Swimming Hole’s Stowe Swimmers Swim club. The Swimmers brought their “A” game, setting Lifetime Bests in 29 events. They also placed in the Top Ten in 29 Events, Top Five in 9 events, which include a Third place Finish, a Second Place finish, and a 2016 New England Regional Champion was crowned. Stowe Swimmers Qualify in The New England Regional Championships Since the 2015-16 season got underway in October 2015, Stowe swimmers have been excelling, in fun, fitness and results. These young athletes train up to 8 hours each week, supporting each other in, & out of the water, celebrating each others successes, whether it be a personal best, team record, or executing a new skill for the first time.
